Heavenly Brownies

I am a little behind on my food blog. I have Sunday and Monday's recipes that I haven't posted. Life seems to be busy this week, but I'm finally posting the recipes! This is the FHE dessert we had. It is called heavenly brownies and they are so yummy! Easy and tasty is the way I roll! It came from 101 things to do with a cake mix cookbook. LOVE that cookbook! Enjoy!

Heavenly Brownies
Bottom Layer:
1 chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Top layer:
1 lb. (2 c.) powdered sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
2 eggs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix dry cake mix, butter and 1 egg. Add pecans if desired. Spread into a greased 9x13 inch pan. Beat powdered sugar, cream cheese, and remaining 2 eggs together; spread over bottom layer. Bake 40-50 minutes or until golden brown.
