Chocolate Chip Cookies

You really can't have enough recipes for chocolate chip cookies. And so I'm giving yet another one. It is from The Essential Mormon Cookbook. So many good recipes from this. Enjoy!

Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 c. butter or margarine, softened
3/4 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 bag chocolate chips
Cream together butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. In a separate bowl sift together flour, salt, and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture and beat well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop onto greased cookie sheet by heaping tablespoons. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned. Makes about 3 dozen.

  2. I agree with you. I've been baking a dozen chocolate chip cookie recipes this past week trying to find the best of them all. Yours look like they would definitely be up there with the tops. I have a sweet treat linky party going on at my blog till Monday night and I'd love it if you'd come by and link your cookies up. http://sweet-as-sugar-cookies.blogspot.com/2011/06/sweets-for-saturday-20.html
