Canned Apple Pie Filling
10 c. water
4 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. corn starch
3 tbsp. lemon juice
7 qt. sliced, peeled apples
Bring to boil and thicken first 6 ingredients. Add lemon juice. Place apples in bottles; pour mixture over each qt. of apples. Process in boiling water canner for 20 minutes.
