Baked Ham and Cheese Sandwiches

Seriously, one of the biggest hits of the cabin weekend that we just got back from. These little morsels are fabulous and were gone in 3.2 seconds. A lot of people going back for 2nds and 3rds. These are from The Country Cook. It is a perfect recipe for hosting a party or just for your own dinner. It is great! Enjoy!
Baked Ham and Cheese Sandwiches
1 stick salted butter
1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar (dark or light)
1/2 tbsp. mustard (yellow or dijon)
1 (12 oz) package King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (package of 12)
Black Forest Ham, 12 slices or 1/2 pound
Monterey Jack Cheese, 12 slices or 4 oz shredded
Preheat oven to 350F degrees. In a small pot, melt stick of butter with Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and mustard until thoroughly melted and combined.
Meanwhile, take rolls out of package and slice through all the rolls (while still attached), cutting them in half horizontally. Brush the glaze mixture onto both sides of the rolls, covering well. The glaze is what takes this over the top, so don't be stingy. Just leave a little to brush on the tops. On one side of rolls, add sliced ham, then top with cheese. Put top on rolls and then brush the tops with leftover glaze mixture. Place rolls into a baking dish. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Slice and serve!
