Leftover Spaghetti Pie

That is just what it is called. It doesn't have to be leftover, and I took the original recipe and made it my own.  It is from Kraft Foods.  It used chicken and obviously leftover spaghetti noodles. And it was prepared differently than I actually made it. Are you confused yet?  Well, I will just post how I did it rather than how the original recipe called for.  It is delicious!  And I had a handsome helper helping me make it! Enjoy!
Leftover Spaghetti Pie
3  cups cooked spaghetti
1/4  lb. (4 oz.) Velveeta cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/2-1 lb. ground hamburger
1  jar (14 oz.) spaghetti sauce
2  Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 400ºF. Brown hamburger in skillet. Once there is no more pink, add the spaghetti sauce and Velveeta cheese.  Mix until cheese is melted and combined. In a bowl, add cooked spaghetti noodles and add sauce mixture on top and toss to coat.  Add about 1/2 of the cheese and mix in.  Press mixture into 9-inch pie plate or 8-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.Add the rest of the cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese on top.  Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.  Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

  1. Hi Val!

    I was so happy to hear that it wasn't really left-over - I don't like leftovers...;0)

Your version sounds really good, I am going to try it next week!

    Hugs and Love,
