Stroganoff Bake

This was a great alternative to the regular old stroganoff.  I love stroganoff, but Joe isn't a huge fan. But he did like this!  Maybe because it wasn't the EXACT same as the stove top variation.  It came from Families on the Go cookbook that is full of freezer meal ideas and wonderful recipes.  Enjoy!

Stroganoff Bake
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (12 oz) pkg. wide egg noodles
1 (12 oz) can corn
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. sour cream
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. bread crumbs
1 Tbsp. melted butter
Brown ground beef and onion.  Drain.  If freezing, see directions below.  Otherwise, cook noodles according to package directions and drain.  Mix together all ingredients except bread crumbs.  Place mixture in a 9x13 inch pan.  Top with bread crumbs.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes

**If Freezing: Only cook noodles for half the time called for in directions.  Mix all ingredients except bread crumbs.  Place mixture in a disposable pan.  Top with bread crumbs.  Cover with foil and freeze.
