Cereal Christmas Wreaths

I made these little gems for my Young Women's lesson on Sunday. But in all truthfulness, I made them because I am NOT in the Christmas spirit.  Maybe it is because there is no snow, but it just isn't happening.  Dang. So I made these to help me get there. And it helped!   Look at these adorable little things!  They turned out so cute!  Enjoy!

Cereal Christmas Wreaths
4 c. cornflakes
1 bag mini or large marshmallows
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Green food coloring
Little hot red candies
In a pot, melt marshmallows and butter together on medium heat.  When it is all melted together, add in the vanilla and food coloring. Remove from heat.  Add in the cornflakes.  Scoop out into little mounds on wax paper.  Add on the red candies, 2-3 per cookie.  Let cool and harden about 30 minutes. Store in air tight container.

  1. Hi Val!

I want snow too!! If it does not snow, this will be the first year EVER that I have celebrated Christmas without it . . . soooooo sad!

I love the wreaths - they really do look festive!

    Hugs and Love,
    Barb
