Gingerbread House Icing

I know, I know, super late.  It has been a hectic month and honestly, I am kind of glad it is finally settling back down a bit.  I haven't been on here lately, but I think I have a pretty valid excuse!

There hasn't been much cooking done around here.  Sadly, nothing that we used to eat appeals to me at all!  But we are beyond thrilled to add to our family!!

A few weeks back, we made gingerbread houses and I used this recipe for the "glue".  It turned out great!  Enjoy!

Gingerbread House Icing
Recipe by: Make It and Love It
2 lb. bag powdered sugar
1 tsp. cream of tartar
3 egg whites
1/4 c. water (plus more)
Combine sugar and cream of tartar in mixer.  Add eggs and 1/4 c. water.  Mix well at high speed.  Add more water if needed, until a nice spreadable consistency.
