Cornbread

I made this tonight with our chili.  It was wonderful!  The recipe is from a family cookbook and is from my sister Michelle.  Enjoy!

Cornbread
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. oil
1 egg
1 c. milk
Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and mix together.  Combine oil, eggs, and milk together.  Stir into dry ingredients until just blended.  Pour into 8" square pan.  Bake in oven at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until done.
