All-Purpose Meat Rub

You really can't go wrong when using a recipe from Our Best Bites.  Seriously, they are one of my absolute favorite cookbooks/websites around.  We used this rub on steaks and it was amazing!  It will be used a lot this summer, I am sure of it!  Enjoy!

All Purpose Meat Rub
Recipe by: Our Best Bites
2 tsp. dried oregano
2 tsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. coarse, freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp. granulated garlic
1 tbsp. onion powder
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. smoked paprika
Combine ingredients and mix until well distributed.  
For Steak and Chicken: Rub 1-1 1/2 tbsp. into 16 oz. of steak or chicken and allow to stand about 10 minutes before grilling.
