Homemade Slurpees

Oh man.  These slushies...I am a fan of anything frozen/slushy.  Usually when I eat otter pops I let them sit for a bit so they aren't completely frozen and they are kinda squishy.  That's how I roll.  And these hit the spot!  Enjoy!

Homemade Slurpees
Recipe by: Mandy's Recipe Box
1 packet of Kool-Aid, any flavor
2 c. Club Soda
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. crushed ice
Put the Kool-Aid powder, sugar, and 1 c. Club Soda in a blender. Process till smooth and dissolved. Add the ice and blend until smooth. Add the remaining cup of Club Soda and blend. It should be slushy but put it in the freezer for about 30-45 minutes to thicken up.

  1. Hi Val!

I love slurpees - I just love anything icy when it's so hot outside! I have to make these . . . soon!

Christian is growing up so fast! Can you believe he will be a sophomore this year?! He is really good at the guitar - he basically taught himself to play by watching Youtube . . . who knew!

We really do need to have a huge camping trip, that would be awesome!!

    Hugs and Love,
