Ice Cream Sundae Brownies

Do you ever get sick of the "run of the mill" brownies?  I know, it is kinda a dumb question.  Who gets sick of brownies?  But it is nice to shake it up once in a while.  And these certainly did the trick.  It has M&M's (bonus) and caramel (double bonus!).  And they are pretty simple to make and so yummy to eat!  In this recipe,  she puts a scoop of frosting on top to be the ice cream.  That is a little much for even me, and that is saying a lot because I love frosting.  So we just did plain ole ice cream on top and omitted the frosting.  And they were fabulous!  Enjoy!

Ice Cream Sundae Brownies
Recipe adapted by: Cookies and Cups
1 (18.3 oz) box brownies, prepared as package indicates
3/4 cup Mini M&Ms, divided
9 oz caramels
2 Tbsp milk
Vanilla ice cream
Preheat oven to 350°.  Line a 9x9 baking dish with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray, set aside.  Mix up brownies as directed on box. Stir in 1/2 cup mini M&M Candies. Pour batter into prepared pan.  In medium sauce pan combine unwrapped caramels and 2 Tbsp milk, heating on low until caramels are just melted. Drizzle caramel over top of the brownie batter, and swirl in with a knife. Sprinkle remaining M&Ms on top and bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are set and center is almost set.  Allow brownies to cool completely before slicing. Top with ice cream.
