Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake

This is from my Incredibly Easy Cake Mix Cookbook. It was so good. I had a little helper that LOVES to help me cook. He is an excellent cook and a great help. This came out great. Enjoy!

Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake
1 pkg. pound cake mix, divided
1 1/2 c. fresh blueberries
5 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
3/4 c. milk
Powdered sugar (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x5 inch loaf pan. Place 1/4 cup cake mix in medium bowl; add blueberries and toss until well coated. This helps them not sink so bad.

Beat cream cheese in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed 1 minute or until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add remaining cake mix alternately with milk, beginning and ending with cake mix, beating well after each addition. Beat 1 minute at medium speed or until light and fluffy.

Fold blueberry mixture into batter; don't mix with beater, or it will ruin the berries. Use a spatula to fold in batter.

pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 55-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove cake form pan; cool completely on wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
