Forget It Pot Roast

A perfect Sunday meal, or anytime you want to put something in the crock pot, forget about it, and have your house smell wonderful hours later! When I made this, I didn't have carrots or potatoes, so I made this without it. It worked out great still, but those are always a nice addition to a meal like this. I got this recipe in the Fix It and Forget It cookbook. Super simple, and tasty! Enjoy!

Forget It Pot Roast
6 potatoes, quartered
6 carrots, sliced
3-3 1/2 lg. chuck roast
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2-3 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. cold water
Place potatoes and carrots in slow cooker. Add meat. Top with soups. Cover. Cook on low for 8-9 hours. To make gravy, remove meat and vegetables to serving platter and keep warm. Pour juices into saucepan and bring to boil. Mix 2-3 tbsp. flour with 1/4 c. cold water until smooth. Stir into juices in pan until thickened.
