This was an interesting recipe. I can't recall where I found it. It was from one of the cookbooks from the library, but I can't remember which. However, it was something that is quite different from the usual run of the mill stroganoff. So of course I had to give it a go. Don't be scared of the random ingredients in this recipe, it actually rounds the recipe out nicely.
Crock pot Beef Stroganoff3 lb. stew meat, cubed
1 can cream of mushroom soup, condensed
2 cans (4 oz each) mushrooms, with liquid
1/2 c. apple juice
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
Combine all ingredients in greased slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat 10 hours. Makes 4-6 servings
