Back-to-Basics Grilled Cheese

Easy enough right? Well, this is what I made for dinner and figured that I'd post the recipe on the chance that someone reading this might not know how to make a grilled cheese sandwich. Or, maybe you make it differently and want to make it with some variation! super simple, super yummy. Enjoy!

Grilled Cheese Sandwich
2 pieces of bread
butter
1-2 slices of cheese, enough to cover one piece of bread
Spray a skillet with cooking spray and turn on to medium heat. Butter one side of each piece of bread. Put one piece of bread butter side down in the skillet. Add the cheese so that it covers the bread. Add the other piece of bread with the butter side up. Cook on skillet until cheese starts to melt on bottom of sandwich. Flip after about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown on side. Cook on other side until golden brown. Take off pan and enjoy!

  3. I've had a really good variation of grilled cheese. Use sourdough bread, spread garlic butter on the sourdough, and then use cheddar cheese and one other kind of cheese you like (i.e. swiss, provolone, etc.). Still the favorite comfort food, but with a twist!
