Lemon Bars

This was our FHE treat for tonight. I love lemon bars and these were no exception! They hit the spot! The recipe came from Family Dinner Cookbooks. It is aimed more for bigger families, so when I use this cookbook, I cut the recipe in half. That is what I did with this one. The typed up version is the original, but I cut the recipe in half. Enjoy!

Lemon Bars
2 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. lemon juice
Powdered sugar
Blend the first 5 ingredients. Press mixture into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Whisk eggs, sugar, flour, and lemon juice together. Pour over crust. Bake additional 15-20 minutes or until center is set. Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
