Homemade Granola

I am pretty sure that I will make this just to make my house smell delicious. And it is a perfect healthy snack or breakfast! It came from my Relief Society weekday meeting...aka Homemaking, or Enrichment. It was great. Enjoy!
Granola
8 c. oatmeal
2 c. wheat germ
6 c. cereal (cheerios, cornflakes, raisin bran, golden grahams, rice krispies...etc.)
2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut (optional)
1 c. hot water w/ 1/2 c. honey mix together
1/2 c. water w/ 1/2 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1-2 c. craisins, raisins, or nuts
Mix all dry ingredients.

Pout hot water mixture and coat well and then add the water/oil mixture with vanilla and coat again until all mixed together. Add craisins or whatever else you want.

Pour on to 2 cookie sheets and bake for 25 minutes then rotate pans and cook another 20 minutes. Take out and cool and store in containers. It is great warm with some milk right out of the oven.
