Cherry-O-Let

This is a recipe that came from my mom who got it from her neighbor named Charlet. I'm guessing that this is the name sake of the recipe. The "let" of the name. It is really good! I modified it and made it St. Patty's day friendly. Instead of red, cherry frosting, I did green mint frosting. Or you can just do green. This is perfect for the holiday! Enjoy!

Cherry-o-Let
1 can cherry frosting
20 large marshmallows, melted
Mix these together after you melt the marshmallows. If you can’t find cherry frosting, either buy or make your own white frosting and flavor it with cherry flavoring and red food color.
3/4 c. chunky peanut butter
12 oz. chocolate chips, melted
12 oz. salted peanuts, chopped
Mix together.
Spread in 9x9 inch pan in layers:
1/2 chocolate mixture
Cherry mixture
1/2 chocolate mixture
Let stand and cut in squares.
