Fresh Peach Crisp

This is a perfect recipe for the upcoming summer season. Especially when the peaches are on. I just made and used canned peaches and it worked great still. Enjoy!
Fresh Peach Crisp
2 1/2 lbs. fresh peaches, peeled, pitted
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter
Butter a baking dish. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Slice peeled peaches into prepared dish. Sift together flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon into a medium bowl. Cut butter into flour mixture until mixture resembles course meal. Sprinkle crumbs evenly over peaches in baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes until topping is golden brown and peaches are tender. Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
