Hamburger Stroganoff

I did get sick.  It was wishful thinking that I wouldn't, and I think deep down I knew that.  Jacob first, then Owen, and then Joe got it.  I was just REALLY hoping that the mom wouldn't get it because I still have things I have to do regardless of if I get the flu.  The good news is that it was a super fast bug and was out of the house.  However, Owen woke up on Saturday with a bad cold.  We just can't catch a sick break.  So I have been cuddling with my little baby while he doesn't feel well.  That would explain my absence.  I had been so good about posting and this is me getting back on the wagon!

The recipe I have for you today is hamburger stroganoff.  It is so super simple.  This is one of those recipes that is so interchangeable you can accommodate almost any family!  You can change the meat out for steak, hamburger, or chicken.  Put it over noodles or rice.  Really the possibilities are endless! Enjoy!

1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. butter
Egg noodles or rice
Brown hamburger until no longer pink.  Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and mushrooms.  Cook five minutes.  Drain off grease.  Stir in soup and simmer, uncovered 10 minutes.  Stir in sour cream.  Put on noodles or rice.
