German Pancakes

We had breakfast for dinner tonight. I wanted to switch it up a bit and thought German pancakes would be fun. They were tasty! We hadn't ever had them before, so when they started puffing out of the pan, it freaked me out a little. But apparently that is what they are supposed to do! It came from Worldwide Ward Cookbook Christmas. Enjoy!

German Pancakes
4 tbsp. butter
6 eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Cut butter into pieces and place in 9x13 inch pan that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place pan with butter in the preheating oven just until the butter melts (you don't want to scorch the butter). In a bowl, mix eggs, milk, flour, and salt; mix until fluffy and smooth.
Pour egg mixture into pan with melted butter. Bake fro 15-20 minutes. While the batter is baking, it will climb up and beyond the sides of the pan. The pancake is done when edges are nicely browned. Makes 6 servings.
