3 Ingredient Homemade Hot Chocolate

I woke up and immediately looked at the weather.  It is habit.  With Jacob in school, it is nice to know how warm I need to have him.  Gloves, hat, layers (so he can shed some at school when it warms up), that kind of thing.  Well, today was all of the above.  And not so he can cool off.  1 degree.  That's right.  And wind chill was -15 degrees!  In November?  Really?  I was just shocked.  But to be honest, after yesterdays snow, I wasn't too mad.  I like snow.  I really do.  All of the holidays.  My favorite!  But that was just a little cold. And after taking Jacob to school this morning, I could NOT warm up!  So I took to pinterest.  Best site ever.  I found me a recipe for 3 ingredient homemade hot chocolate.  Best. Idea. Ever.  Warmed me right up and tasted FANTASTIC! Especially with the single digits outside!  And I may, or may not have been listening to Christmas music this morning. Stay warm, and enjoy!

3 Ingredient Homemade Hot Chocolate
Recipe by: Unskinny Boppy
1 tbsp. cocoa powder
1/2 c. white sugar
1/4 c. skim milk
1 3/4 c. skim milk (to be used separately from the other milk)
Stir together the cocoa powder and sugar in a medium saucepan.  The cocoa will be lumpy but that is okay, just make sure they are mixed together.  Add 1/4 c. skim milk.  It won't mix right away, but that's okay.  Bring mixture to a low boil of medium high heat, stirring constantly.  Let it boil for a minute or two, until the sugar is dissolved and no longer grainy.  Be sure to continue to stir constantly. Once it is mixed together, add the rest of the milk (1 3/4 c. more or less to your liking.  If you like super sweet, less milk, less sweet, more milk).  Once you add cold milk it will need to be warmed up again to get the temp hot again.
